Play & Relationship-Based Therapy
Play Therapy and Sand Tray Therapy
Children often communicate and process their feelings through play. Play and sand tray therapy provide children with a safe space to express themselves, explore emotions, and make sense of experiences using toys, creativity, and symbols in ways that feel natural and developmentally appropriate.
Expressive Arts
Creativity can provide children with a powerful way to express experiences that may be difficult to put into words. Through art, music, movement, and other creative activities, children can explore emotions, communicate their experiences, and discover new ways of understanding themselves.
Trauma & Emotional Healing
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps children process distressing or overwhelming experiences. Using developmentally appropriate techniques, including bilateral stimulation, therapists help children work through difficult memories and build a greater sense of safety and control.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS offers a compassionate framework for understanding the different thoughts, feelings, and “parts” we all experience. When developmentally appropriate, IFS-informed therapy can help children and families better understand these inner experiences, build self-awareness, and approach difficult emotions with greater curiosity and compassion.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps children and teens understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. By learning to recognize unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier coping skills, CBT can help with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and other everyday challenges.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
CPT is an evidence-based treatment that helps individuals process traumatic experiences and understand how trauma may have affected the way they think about themselves, others, and the world. Through supportive, structured therapy, clients can challenge unhelpful beliefs and develop a healthier understanding of what happened.

Creative Expression & Emotional Growth
Expressive Arts
Creative expression can provide children and teens with a powerful way to communicate experiences that may be difficult to put into words. Through art, music, movement, and other creative activities, clients can explore emotions, express themselves, and discover new ways of understanding their experiences.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Mindfulness can help children and teens slow down, become more aware of their thoughts, emotions, and bodies, and learn how to respond to difficult experiences with greater awareness. These practices can support emotional regulation, resilience, stress management, and an increased sense of calm.
Somatic & Body-Based Therapy
Somatic therapy recognizes the connection between the mind and body and how stress and difficult experiences can affect both. Through body awareness, grounding, movement, breathwork, and other techniques, clients can learn to recognize their body's responses, regulate their nervous system, and feel more present and connected.

Parent & Family Support
Expressive Arts Parent Support & Coaching
Parent support gives caregivers a space to better understand what their child may be communicating through emotions and behavior. Our therapists work alongside parents to provide practical strategies, strengthen connection, and help parents feel more confident supporting their child's emotional needs at home.
Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP)
Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) supports young children and their caregivers who have experienced trauma, loss, stressful experiences, or challenges in their relationship. Through sessions with the child and caregiver together, CPP focuses on strengthening connection, restoring a sense of safety, and helping families heal together.
Child-Parent Relationship Training (CPRT)
Child-Parent Relationship Training (CPRT) teaches parents therapeutic play skills they can use to strengthen their relationship with their child. Parents learn ways to better understand their child's emotions, improve communication, build connection, and respond to challenging behaviors with greater confidence.

Neurodiversity & Whole-Child Care
ADHD Support
Therapy can help children and teens with ADHD better understand themselves while developing skills for emotional regulation, frustration tolerance, relationships, organization, and everyday challenges. Our approach focuses on supporting the whole child rather than defining them by a diagnosis.
Autism-Informed Therapy
Our therapists provide psychotherapy for autistic children and teens when their needs are a good fit for the clinician's experience and scope of practice. Therapy may address anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, relationships, self-understanding, and other mental health concerns while honoring each child's individual strengths and differences.
Emotional Regulation
Big emotions can sometimes feel overwhelming for both children and their families. Therapy can help children better recognize and understand their emotions, notice what is happening in their bodies, develop healthy coping strategies, and build confidence navigating difficult moments.
